kennt ihr schon das neue Projekt von Nate und Sally?

Nach They draw and cook gibt es nun They draw and travel.

da ich kein Superkoch bin aber ein echter Globetrotter finde ich das super.

Mein Beitrag den ihr auch auf TDAT finden könnt zeigt allerdings meine Heimatstadt Aachen. Sie liegt im Dreiländereck neben Belgien und den Nieserlanden.

In der Mitte die Kathedrale aus dem Jahr 800. Rund um den Dom gibt es viele historische Gebäude, Brunnen und Denkmäler, wie dir römischen Säulen im "Hof", der Elisenbrunnen mit den Heilwasserquellen oder der Skulptur von dem Mädchen mit der großen Printe, einer Art Lebkuchen.

Do you know the new project of Nate and Sally?

After They draw and cook, they had a new website "They draw and travel".

Since I am not a hell of a cook but a real globetrotter, I appreciate that very much.

Mei entry for TDAT can be seen today and it shows my hometown Aachen.

It is in the very west of Germany, right at the border to Belgium and the Netherlands. In the center is the Emperor Cathedral that had been built in the late 8th Century. It is surrounded by other historical buildings like the roman columns in the "Hof", or the Elisenbrunnen, a fountain with healing water. Aachen is full of fountains and monuments, like this of the little girl with the great "Printe" a Gingerbread from Aachen.

Ahhhhhhhh !!!! I can´t comment!! Help!!!!

Hallo meine Lieben
Nach dem ich mich schon so gefreut habe, das ich nun wieder in meinem Blog komme und in mein Dashboard, musste ich heute feststellen, dass ich bei Euch plötzlich keinen Kommentar hinterlassen kann.
Ich schreibe einen Kommentar, dann soll ich mich bei Blogger wieder mit meinem Passwort annehmen, und.... es wird nicht erkannt, obwohl ich mich bei meinem Blog schon angemeldet habe.
Hilfe!!!
Anne hat geschrieben, sie hätte so ein Problem auch schon mal gehabt.
Kann man da was tun, oder muss man einfach abwarten?
Falls ihr bei mir einem Kommentar hinterlassen könnt und weiter wisst, freue ich mich über Rat und Hilfe

After I've been so happy, that I have access to my blog and my dashboard again, now  I can`t leave you any comment.
After writing a comment, Bloggers asks me to re-enter my password, and .... it is not recognized, even though I've been logged into my blog already.
Help!
Anne wrote that she has had such a problem before.
Is there anything I can do, or can I just wait?
If you can leave me a comment and know what to do, I would be so  pleased about your advise and help.
I wnt to thank you for your support and dear comments on my latest posts.

I Had a Idea. I installed another explorer (Firefox instead of explorer) and now it seems to work!!

Dragonhouse- Project finished!

Hallo meine Lieben,

könnt ihr euch noch an mein Drachenhausprojekt erinnern?

Die zugemauerten Fenster auf der Ostseite unseres Hauses sind zum Eingang in die Welt eines Drachen geworden. Ich hatte befürchtet, dass die Besucher des Friedhofs, der gegenüber ist, Anstoß nehmen könnten.

Das war bisher nicht so. Ich habe aber viel positive Resonanz gehört und ich freue mich immer besonders, wenn staunende kinder vorbei spazieren.

Sicherheitshalber habe ich aber noch einen winzig kleinen Ritter dazu gemalt. Falls sich also jemand über dieses Phantasybild beschwert, dann kann ich ja behaupten, der Kleine wäre der heilige Georg und mein Wandbild wäre ein religiöse Darstellung (he he he).

Tatsächlich sieht es für Don Blech nicht gut aus. Ich glaube ja, der Drache wird ihn wegschnipsen.

Tja, manchmal gewinnt der Drache.

Gut so.

Hier könnt ihr noch mal sehen wie alles anfing und wie es nun ausschaut.

Hello my friends,

Can you still recall my dragon house project?

The walled-up windows on the east side of our house have become the entrance to the world of a dragon. I was afraid that the visitors to the cemetery, which is opposite might take offense.

Fortunatly, this was not the case. But I have heard a lot of positive feedback and I'm always happy especially when children walk over with big eyes and a smile on their faces.

As a precaution I painted  a tiny knight with the dragon. If someone complains about this phantasypicture, I can tell, that the little knight is St. George and that my painting is a religious one (he he he).
In fact, it does not look good for Georgie.

I think the dragon will flip him away.

Well, sometimes the dragon wins.

Right so.

Bloggers Freud, Bloggers Leid / The joy and worry of blogging

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ja ich bin es tatsächlich.
Es scheint so, als ob ich das Interesse an meinem Blog und an euren verloren habe.
Das ist ganz und gar nicht so, aber ich habe mich ernsthaft gefragt wie meine Einstellung zu der ganzem Blogging- Sache ist.
Ich liebe meinen Blog. Es hat mir immer viel Freude gemacht, euch an meiner Arbeit und meinem Leben teilhaben zu lasse. Ich bin begeistert über jeden eurer Kommentare und das surfen durch eure Blogs ist bunt und schön und inspirierend.
Alles war gut und eine Bereicherung.
Ich habe jeden neuen Leser bejubelt und ernsthaft versucht allen gerecht zu werden.
Aber bei 30 Lesern ist das einfacher als bei 130.
Und plötzlich, ganz langsam wurde aus dem leichten und freudvollen Austausch eine Verpflichtung.
Ich hatte ein schlechtes Gewissen, wenn ich nicht  regelmässig eine Runde durch eure Blogs gemacht habe. Im richtigen Leben ist bei mir zur Zeit viel los. Abgesehen von meiner Familie und meinen Freunden, meinem Vollzeitjob als Erzieherin in einer Jugendfreizeitenrichtung, dem Haus und dem Garten werde ich bald noch mal zur Uni gehen und mich in pädagogischer Kunsttherapy weiterbilden. Meine beste Freundin heiratet und ich bin ihre Trauzeugin (Da gibt es einiges zu tun. Ich hatte ja keine Ahnung) und deshalb habe ich in letztes Zeit darüber nachgedacht, ob ich meinen Blog schließen soll.
Aber das will ich doch gar nicht!!!
Dann geschah die Computer- Katastrophe! Ich kam nicht mehr in mein Dashboard. Zugriff verweigert!!!
Egal was ich tat, das Kennwort bei Blogger ändern, Blogger-Hilfe-Seiten kontaktieren, sämtliche Virenschutzprograsmme auf dir Jagd gehen lasen,
ich kam nicht in meinen Blog!
Und dann hab ich es halt gelassen.
Stattdessen sind mein Albert und ich in Urlaub gefahren und haben uns in der Slowakei (einem tollen Land) entspannt.
Als ich gestern zurückkam, habe ich wie durch ein Wunder wieder Zugang zu meinem Blog gehabt und mich sehr darüber gefreut.
Ich sag euch was ich tun werde.
Ich werde posten, wenn ich Lust dazu habe, ich werde eure Blogs besuchen, wenn mir danach ist und ich Zeit und Musse dafür habe.
Ich bin sicher, ihr werdet verstehen, wenn das nicht ständig ist.
Ich könnte mir vorstellen euch geht es manchmal genau so.
So das war´s für jetzt.

Hello my friends,

yes it´s actually me.
It seems as if I've lost interest in my blog and in yours.
That is entirely not so, but I'm seriously wondering how my attitude to the whole blogging thing is.
I love my blog. It was a great pleasure to share my work and my life with you. I'm excited about all of your comments and surfing through your blogs is colorful and beautiful and inspiring.
Everything was good and enriching.
I have cheered every new reader and I was seriously attempt to do them justice.
But that is much simple with 30 readers than with 130.
And suddenly, slowly the light and joyful sharing became a commitment.
I felt guilty  if I have not done a tour of your blogs regularly. In real life a lot of things did heppen. Apart from my family and my friends, my full time job in the youth-center, the house and the garden I will go to university soon and study educational art therapy. My best friend gets married and I am her maid of honor (There is some work to do. I had no idea) so I've been thinking lately about whether I should close my blog or not.
But I don´t want to do that!
Then came the computer-disaster!
I could not get into my dashboard. Access denied!
No matter what I did, change the password for Blogger, contacting Blogger help pages , activating all security programms, I couldn´t get into my blog!
And then I left it.
Instead, my Albert and I went on holiday and hade a great time in Slovakia (a marvellous country).
When I came back yesterday, I hade miraculously again access to my blog and was very happy about that.
I tell you what I'll do.
I'll post when I feel like it, I will visit your blogs when I feel like it and I have time and leisure for that.
I am sure you will understand, when this is not all the time.
I suppose you feel sometimes the same about that subject.
So that's it for now.

Lazy sunny sunday afternoon

Hallo meine Lieben,

Ich hoffe ihr hatten ein schönes Wochenende.

Bei mir hier war das Wetter himmlisch.

Ich habe meiner langweiligen Gartenliege

ein neues buntes Sommerkleid genäht,

und mich dann auf ihr für den Rest des Tages niedergelassen :0)

Ich hab ein Extrafach für Zeitungen im Sonnendach angebracht.

Here in Germany the weather was heavenly.

I sewed a new dress for my boring sunlounger,

and layed down on it for the rest of the day ;0)

I made an extra-pocket for magazines in the sun-shelter.

(Is that the right name for that roof-like-thing?)

ist es nicht herrlich wie alles grünt und blüht?

Die Farben der Blüten, der Duft und das Summen der Bienen machen mich glücklich und ausgeglichen.

In meinem kleinen Hof zu sitzen, gehört zu meinen großen Freuden.

Für mich, ist nun die schönste Jahreszeit.

Ich finde, man merkt erst im Frühling, was man im Winter alles vermisst.
