Sisi - Paperdoll

Hallo ihr Lieben

Ich hatte gestern Lust ein wenig rumzukritzeln und dabei ist diese Siss- Anziehpuppe

entstanden. Ich fand diese Papierpüppchen als Kind immer ganz wunderbar.

Umarmt das innere Kind in euch und spielt mal wieder, ich kann euch verraten, das macht wahnsinnig Spaß.

Hello my friends,
yesterday I was in the mood to doodle a little bit and the result was this Sisi- Paperdoll.
Sisi, or Sissi, was the austrianempress and hungarian queen Elisabeth from the house of Habsburg.
I have a softspot for this strange and yet fascinating lady.
As a child I loved paperdolls very much.
Embrace the inner child in you and play again, I confess it is absolutly fun.

Die bayrische Prinzessin / The Bavarian Princess

Hallo meine Lieben,
da ist sie wieder, Sisi die Königin und Kaiserin. Doch auf meinem Bild ist sie noch eine kleine Prinzessin in Bayern. Sie trägt ein Dirndl und spielt mit ihrem Hund.
Ich mag die traditionelle Haartracht. Mit ihr sieht jede Frau aus, als würde sie eine Krone tragen. Das Bild wurde mit Acryl- und Wasserfarben gemalt, der Hintergrund und Sisis Rock mit Glitzerfarbe versehen.
Was soll ich sagen, ich mag es bunt und kitschig, ich kann es nicht ändern.
Das kleine Foto von mir, wurde vor fünf Jahren aufgenommen, als ich auf einer Oktoberfest- Party war.
Wie ihr sehen könnt, steht mir die Haarkrone auch ganz gut ;0)

Hallo my friends,
there she is again, Sisi the Queen and Empress. But on my painting she is still a little bavarian princess. She is wearing a Dirndl ( the traditional bavarian and austrian dress) and is playing with her dog.
I like the traditionally hairdo. With that, every woman looks as if she is wearing a crown.
The painting was made with acrylicpaint and watercolours on stretched canvas.
On the blue background (The blue and white rhombi are the bavarian flag) and Sisis skirt I put glitter.
What should I say, I like it colourful and kitschy. I can´t help it.
The little photo of me was taken five years ago, when I was on an Oktoberfest- party (the real "Oktoberfest" is in Munich. I live in another part of Germany where we don´t wear Dirndls usually). As you can see the hair- crown suits me quiet well ;0)

Sissi

Hallo ihr Lieben,
nachdem ich letztlich mit einem Burgfräulein aufgewartet habe, wird es nun royal.
Ich muss gestehen ich habe, wie so viele Frauen, eine Schwäche für SISI.
Sowohl für die alten, wunderbar kitschigen Filme, als auch für die reale Person Elisabeth, die eine wirklich interessante und höchst skurrile Frau war.
Ich hatte das Glück schon einige Male in Wien sein zu können, und dort die kaiserlichen Schlösser mit ihren prächtigen Bildern zu sehen.
Es gibt ein Bild des Malers Winterhalter, das Sisi mit der charakteristischen Zopffrisur und den Diamantsternen im Haar zeigt.
Von diesem Bild habe ich mich inspirieren lassen. Allerdings habe ich sie nicht mit royalem Gepränge gemalt, denn sie hielt, obschon sie die Kaiserin war, nicht viel von Monarchie.
Am liebsten waren ihr die Tiere.
Und so hab ich ihr einen kleinen Hund zur Seite gestellt, den sie lieb haben kann.

Hi everybody
After I had shown up with a damsel of the castle the last time, now it becomes royal.
I confess, I have a soft spot for SISI. She was a Princess in Bavaria and then after the became the Empress of Austria and the Queen of Hungary.
I do love the old classic, cheesy, austrian "Sissi"- Films. But also I am very interested in the historical person of Elisbeth, who was a romantic, tragical and bizarre person.
I was lucky to be several times in vienna. I visited the royal palaces and saw all this beautiful paintings there.
There is one of the artist Winterhalter, who made a painting of Sisi with her characteristical braid- hairdo and the diamond-stars in her hair.
This painting was my inspiration, but I painted Sisi without royal ostentation.
Allthough she was an Empress, she didn´t like royality very much.
What she loves the most, were animals.
And so I gave her a littele dog, givin her some love.
