Meet my darlings

Wie all Katzenbesitzer glaube ich fest, das nicht bezaubernder ist als meine Lieblinge und deshalb wollte ich euch ein paar schöne Bilder von Rossi und Stella zeigen.

Like all cat-owners I believe, that nothing is more captivating than my darlings, and therefor I want to show you some nice photos of Rossi and Stella.

In diesen Korb sollten die Orangen, aber Stella wollte zuerst einmal nachprüfen, ob der Korb nicht bequem ist.

This basket should be for the oranges, but before Stella wanted to proof if it is comfortable for her.

Kaum draußen beschwert sich Rossi schon über die Kälte.

Rossi is complaining about the cold snow.

Stella liebt ihre Fußbodenheizung

Stella loves her floor-heating.

Drinnen ist es viel gemütlicher

Inside it is much more comfortable

Stella ist gern in der Küche, nahe all dem guten Essen.

Stella loves to be in the kitchen, near to all that good food.

Zeit sich zu entspannen

Time to relax

Immer schön das Fell putzen.

Stella keeps her fur shiny and clean.

So das reicht für heute, wir gehen jetzt schlafen

Inspiration Avenue / Once upon a time

Es war einmal...das ist das Thema der "Inspiration Avenue".

Ich habe daraufhin eine kleine Reise ins Morgenland gemacht.

Und weil mir so weihnachtlich zumute ist, habe ich meine alte Kiste mit Weihnachtsdekoration rausgekramt, Adventskranz und Weihnachtskalender aufgebaut und eine Kerze entzündet. Ich liebe die Adventszeit...

So I made a journey to the orient.

I because I feel so chrismassy I took the old wooden box with the christmas decorations,

made an advent calendar for my sweetheart, an advent wreath and lit a candel.

This is my entry for Illustration Friday, but actually
I designed this recipe for Sacher torte for http://www.theydrawandcook.com/.
I am not a hell of a cook, but I love chocolate and I love Austria, since I lived there for 8 years, when I was a child. So this recipe is perfect for me.
I see now, that I should change the font and sice of the text, but most important is :
-VERY IMPORTANT--->Please proof-read your recipe to ensure that it is correct and not confusing!

Would you my dear blogger friends from USA, Canada, England and Australia be so kind and have a look if the text is all right that way?
That would be great.
Here comes the text:
Take the butter, most of the sugar and the warmed- up chocolate, add bit by bit the egg yolk and mix it, till it is foamy. Than add the breadcrumbs. Whisk the egg- white with the rest of the sugar stiff and fold it in the daugh.
Put it in a buttered cake pan and bake it on middle heat ( 170°C) for one hour.
When the tart has cooled down, cover it thin with apricot jam and thick with chocolate.Therefor warm-up the chocolate with the oil, a little water and some  sugar and stir it, till it is even.

Please write me if it is okay, or what mistakes I made.

Time for coffee

Hallo ihr Lieben,
wie ihr wisst habe ich im Moment viel Zeit Kaffee zu trinken und zu malen.
Heraus kam das. Es hängt nun in meiner Küche und da hängt es zurecht.
Wenn ihr also Lust auf einen fantastischen Kaffe aus brasilianischen oder kenianischen Bohnen,
mit aufgeschäumter Milch und einem Hauch von Schokolade wollt, dann schaut vorbei.
Ihr seid alle eingeladen bei mir eine Tasse Kaffee zu trinken.

Let it snow

Hallo ihr Lieben

ich hab in London eine Ausstellung von Figuren des amerikanischen Künstlers Jim Shore gesehen. Seine Figuren sind so farbenfroh und haben mir sehr gut gefallen.

Sie haben mich zu diesem Bild inspiriert.

Ich hab mir für mein zweites vorweihnachtliches Bild diesmal ein anderes Medium als Leinwand ausgesucht. Diesmal habe ich auf Blech gemalt. Genaugenommen auf die Rückseite einer Dose für Buntstifte. Einmal grundiert geht das sehr gut.

Meine Rentiere bereiten sich genau wie ich auf Weihnachten vor. Und wie steht es mit euch?

Hello my friends,
In London I saw an exhibition of figures made by the american artist Jim Shore. His figures are so colourful and I liked tham a lot. They inspired me to this painting,

for my seasonal painting I have choosen another medium than canvas. I painted on a metal sheet. To be precise it was the bottom of a metal-box for pensils. After priming that worked very well.

My deers prepare allready for christmas and so do I. What about you?
