das muss ich euch erzählen!
Die Post ist ja ein steter Quell der Ärgernisse, aber was sie sich nun leistet ist die Krönung.
Seit dem 1.1.2010 wird ein erhöhtes Porto von
+35 Cent im Inland und +55 Cent im Ausland erhoben, wenn der Briefumschlag nicht weiß ist!!!!!!!!!!

EIN BUNTER UMSCHLAG KOSTET  MEHR!?!?!?

Ist das nicht schrecklich und so schrecklich deutsch!!!

Hello my friends,
I have to tell you something.
The german post office is a source of constant annoyance, but what they dare to do now, crowns it.
Since the 1. of January there is a new tariff rate decree, that sais, that you have to pay 35 Cent more for inland mail and 55 cents more for foreign countries, when the envelop is not white!!!!!!!!

A COLOURED ENVELOP COSTS  MORE !?!?!?!

This is terrible and so terribly german!!!
I wish all of you a colourful day, as long as you can efford this.

Big Sale in the shoe-shop

Hallo ihr Lieben,

da es nun mal feststeht, dass ich einen Großteil meiner Schuhe nicht mehr tragen kann, habe ich mich nun entschlossen sie bei ebay zu verkaufen.

Um mir den Abschied zu versüßen, habe ich dieses Schuhgeschäft gemalt.

Vielleicht sollte ich eine kleine Papierjanine malen, der all diese Schuhe passen (hihi).

Falls ihr interesse an topgepflegten, heißgeliebten und kaum getragenen Schuhen in Größe 39- 41 habt, schaut doch mal bei ebay rein. Einen kleinen Vorgeschmack findet ihr hier.

Hello my friends.
Now as it is clear that I can´t wear most of my shoes anymore, I decided to sell them at ebay.
To make the farwell easier for me, I painted this shoeshop.
Maybe I should make a little Janine- Paperdoll, fitting all this shoes (hihi).

Shoe be doo be doo

Hallo ihr Lieben,

wie die meisten Frauen, bin auch ich schuhsüchtig,

aber leider kann ich dieser Sucht nach meiner Fuß-OP nicht mehr so fröhnen wie ich will, da ab sofort orthopädische Einlagen statt Pumps angesagt sind.

Eigentlich habe ich selten Schuhe mit Absatz getragen, aber dennoch eine Menge davon gehabt, für besondere Anlässe, in allen möglichen Farben. Ihr wißt ja wie das ist.Nun muss ich vernünftig sein und mir flache Gesundheitsschuhe anschaffen. Wenn schon keine schicken Schuhe mehr in meinem Schuhschrank sein dürfen, dann doch wenigstens als Bilder an der Wand.

Hello my friends,
like most women I am a shoe addict,
but unfortunatly I can´t live that addiction out any more after my foot- operation , cause I have to wear orthopaedic insoles instead of high heels. Actually I didn´t wore high heels very often, but I had quiet a lot of them, for all kind of occasions, in all kind of colours.

You know what I mean. Now I have to be reasonable and buy myselfe flat, healthy shoes. When there are no more glamourous shoes in my shoe-shelf, than at least as paintings on my wall.

London Calling

Hallo meine Lieben,
ich bin am Freitag mit meinem Patenkind für einen Kurztrip nach London aufgebrochen und auch schon wieder zurück.
Ihr kennst sicher alle die  typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Postkartenmotive.
Aber kennt ihr auch Libertys?
Libertys ist das schönste, extravagenteste und älteste Kaufhaus Londons ( vergesst Harrods).
Allein die Architektur dieses einmmaligen Bauwerks ist umwerfend. Die Ware und die Dekorationen sind schlichtweg ein Traum. Da macht es fast gar nichts, dass ein Normalsterblicher kaum über das nötige Kleingeld verfügt um dort einzukaufen.
Vor allem darum nicht, weil das Personal auch dann bezaubernd und freundlich ist, wenn man nicht aussieht, als gehöre man zur klassischen Käuferschaft.
Und um seinem Namen alle Ehre zu machen, darf dort jeder Verkäufer nach seiner Fasson glücklich werden, ob im untadeligen Anzug, mit Bart und Turban, mit Irokesenfrisur und löchrigem T-shirt, kurzem oder langem Rock, welcher besonders einem männlichen Verkäufer ganz hervorragen stand.
Ich liebe London, und ich liebe Libertys.

on friday I went to London with my goddaughter for a short trip and I am back allready.
I am sure you all know the typical sights of London, and the postcard- images, but do you know "Libertys"?
Libertys is the most beautiful, most extravagant and oldest department store in London ( forget about Harrods). The architecture of this phantastic building would be reason enough to enthuse about Libertys, but the decorations and the goods are utterly a dream.
It almost doesn´t care that the avarage consumer don´t have the necessary money for shopping at Libertys, especially because the sales people are even than very friendly and polite, when you don´t look like if you belong to the classic buyership.
And to live up to it´s name, every employee is free to decide how his or her livestyle is and show it.
You´ll see classical suits, beards and turbans, iroquoise hairdos and shirts with gaps and rips, all kind of dresses and short and long skirts. By the way that long black skirt looks quite interesting on that young gentleman working in the lamp-department.
I love London, and I love Libertys.
If you are going to London, stop at Libertys in the Regent street.
I am sure, you´ll love it too.

I couldn´t say it any better.
I want to introduce to you four great artist and bloggers.

Asja Boros, This very talented lady is a photographer and illustrator from Croatia.
She is very talented and her creatures, like the little fox, live a happy life on her blog "Three little cameras".
Beside that she had some more blogs, cause she is very busy.

Marius Morar, He is a very talented photographer from Romania.
His images (often of his home- country) are outstanding and magical.
He surely sees the beauty in every face and every landscape.

Daniel Powers, He is a great illustrator and storyteller from the USA. Every of his drawings (wich are beyond beautiful) goes with a great story, often they are telling us something about Daniels past, his family, his school and so on. It is not just a delight to see the drawing, you can learn about Daniel too.

Jim Moffitt, He is a painter from the USA, who is a master of shadow and light.
No matter if he paints village- scenes ore portraits, his paintings are so alive, so brilliant, so perfect.
His watercolour-painings are allways more than amazing.

So, as you can see,among us blogging women, here are three men!
And they deserve attention.

Fan-tasy

Hallo ihr lieben,

Ich hab wieder was neues?

Fächer zu machen und zu anschließend zu gestalten ist ein großer Spaß. Man braucht Holz und Leinwand und ein wenig Farbe, Spitze und so weiter. Die Idee hatte ich schon vor einigen Wochen  (erinnerst du dich Moni?). Da ich nun einmal mit Marie- Antoinette beschäftigt war, habe ich meinen ersten Fächer ihr gewidmet.

Da mir das ganze aber so viel Spaß gemacht hat, habe ich zwei weiter Fächer gemacht, einen dunklen und einen hellen. Die Dame von Welt sollte zu jeder Zages- und Jahreszeit den richtigen Fächer haben bei der Hand haben (hihi). Ich finde die verschiedenen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten, die das "Medium Fächer" bietet einfach fantastisch.

Mich würde sehr interessieren, welcher Fächer euch am Besten gefällt.

I have something new!

Making fans and  create their style is a big fun. You need wood, canvas, a little paint, lace and so one.

I had that idea allready a few weeks ago, but now after I had been busy with Marie- Antoinette, I made my first fan in the Marie- style.

But as it was so much fun, I decided to make two more fans. A dark and a bright one.

A lady should allways have the right fan in her hand,  fitting for the daytime and the season (hihi). I thing the different ways to design a fan are  fan- tastic. I really would like to know, wich fan you prefer.

Hallo meine Lieben,
das Puppenfieber hat mich endgültigt gepackt.
Inspieriert von Marie Antoinette hab ich diese Puppe Marie genannt ( Ich hätte vor dem fotographieren ihr Kleid bügeln sollen lol).
Und weil sie einmal gefragt haben soll, warum die Leute keinen Kuchen essen, wenn sie kein Brot haben,

habe ich dafür gesorgt, dass sie stets genug Kuchen hat.

Ganz was anderes, Inspiration gibt es überall. Ich hab mir zwei Filme über besonders  inspirierende Frauen gekauft, die viel Freude und Liebe in das Leben zahlreicher Kinder und Erwachsener brachten.

Beatrix Potter und die von mir sehr verehrte Margarete Steiff.

Falls ihr diese Filme noch nicht kennt, kann ich sie euch wärmstens empfehlen. Sie sind beide wunderschön.

Hello my friends,

I defenetly got the doll fever.

Inspired by Marie Antoinette, I named this cloth- doll Marie. ( i should have ironed her dress before taking a photo lol).

Because she is said to have asked why the people do not eat cake when they have no bread, I took care, that she will allways have enough of that.

Something else, insiration is everywhere. I bought myselfe two movies about two exceptionall inspiering women, who brought so much love and joy in the life of so many children and adults.

Beatrix Potter and the adorable Margarethe Steiff.

She was handicaped and sat in the wheel-chair for all her life, she could just use one hand but she was strong in mind and gifted with talent, phantasy and endurance. She invented the Teddy- bears.

I do not know if that movie is available in english speaking countries.

I found a little piece of it on youtube. It is the part where she is in hospital, hoping for cure.

I can suggest both films, they are wonderful.

Hildegard von Bingen and the winner

Hallo meine Lieben,
heute präsentiere ich euch den Gewinner meines Giveaways und mein neues Bild, dass die hochinteressante heilige Hildegard von Bingen darstellt. Sie war eine der herausragensten Frauen des Mittelalters.
Ihre Weke über Musik, Medizin, Biologie und Botanik haben heute noch Bedeutung.
Das Bild wurde übrigens zum Teil mit den Gleichen Filzstiften gemalt, die in meiner Holzdose sind, die zu gewinnen war! Ausserdem verwendete ich Aquarellstifte. Der Text ist von Hildegard und beschreibt den März.
Nun aber zum glücklichen Gewinner.
Alle Namen sind aufgeschrieben ( Mann waren das viele), das Ganze von meiner Stella überwacht und gezogen wurde

today I present you the winner of my giveaway and my latest painting of the very interesting St. Hildegard of Bingen. She was one of the most outstanding women in the middle ages. Her work about musik, medicin, biology and botanic have still meaning.
This painting was partly made with the same feltpens that are in the wooden box! I used aquarell- pens to. The text is from Hildegard about march.

Winter Girl

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich hab mich noch mal an einer Stoffpuppe versucht, was mir viel Spaß macht. Ich schätze da kommt das Kind in mir raus (hi hi).
Sie ist mollig warm angezogen, mit Stiefeln, Handschuhen und dicker Jacke.
Ich hoffe sie wird die bald gegen luftigere Kleidung tauschen können.

ich habe dieses Mixed-media Bild letztes Jahr gemacht. Mit Fotos auf schwarzer Pappe und diese wiederum auf Leinwand. Es gehört zu zwei Bildern mit dem Titel "Frauen sind fabelhaft...Männer auch"
Ich finde es passt wunderbar zum dieswöchigen Thema der Three Muses.
