Meine kleine Kitty war wahrscheinlich schon auf der Mayflower dabei,
und ihre 7 Leben sind noch lange nicht aufgebraucht, sie hat ja magische Kräfte.

hard to believe that we have Halloween in less than 2 weeks.
My little kitty was probably already on the Mayflower,
and her 7 lives are far from waisted, for she has magical powers.

Was macht ihr eigentlich fuer Halloween in Deutschland? Wir hatten das ueberhaupt nicht gefeiert als ich (vor langer Zeit :) da wohnte.

AntwortenLöschenja du hast ganz recht, als wir Kinder waren gab es nur Sankt Martin mit seinen Laternenumzügen. Aber durch das Fernsehen wurde Halloween schnell in Deutschland bekannt und die Kinder, ebenso wie die Erwachsenen feiern heute auch in Deutschland Halloween. Ich finde jeden Grund zum Feiern schön, schade ist nur das der gute alte Sankt Martin immer mehr an bedeutung verliert und deshalb heißt es heute viel häufiger "Süßes oder Saures", als "Ich gehe mit meiner Laterne"

I have to agree, my Zoe (umlaut over the e)is adorable. I can't wait to hold her and hug my other grandbabies...looking forward to my trip to Austin, Texas and I know I'm going to have a great time...always do!! Austin is a fun place.

AntwortenLöschenThe tile was first carved out of architecture clay. You have a square piece same size as a tile. Using tracing paper marking your pattern on, then start carving. Once all cut out. Make plaster cast around it. The plaster cast is then ready for the clay that goes in a kiln. You can make as many tiles as wished at this stage. A lot of fun :D
