Illustartion Friday <> Ungeduld / Impatience

Hallo meine Lieben,
Eure Janine

Hello my friends,
Impatience is the topic of "Illustration Friday" for this week. This young Lady waits with burning impatience for a letter or a sign from her big and secret love.
I just saw that Jane Austin- film in television today. I guess that says all (hehehe).
I used acrylic paint on wood, wich I covered first with tissuepaper and than painted it black.
If that technic sounds familiar to you, than you are right.
That is just the way that Julie- Ann makes her paintings. She had some great How-to-Videos on Youtube and her blog "Heavenleigh Art", where she shows how to paint with that technic.
Julie- Ann you are an awesome teacher and with IMPATIENCE I wait for more of your tutorials.
I wish all of you a lovely weekend
Yours Janine

  7. Hi Janine, I love this one. Your girl shows such longing and fear in her eyes.. she is afraid that she will not hear from the one she cares for. The writing in the background is a wonderful touch ...it does not even matter that I can't read it...her eyes and clenched hands tell the whole story. Excellent piece!
